"Roe vs Wade"

The on-going, and seemingly never ending, battle over women’s reproductive rights inspired this sweater. Traditional fair isle knitting techniques were used to show simplistic and easily recognizable modern symbols such as coat hangers and female anatomy. Completed 2019.

"Paradise Lost"

The town of Paradise, California was destroyed by a fire in the summer of 2018. Trying to use the medium of knitting as way of recording history, the artist took traditional fair isle techniques and traditional pastoral motifs, and juxtaposed them with the harsh reality of the world around us. Completed in 2019.
